Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, and rust. Use a degreaser and a wire brush if necessary.
- Sanding: Lightly sand the surface to create a better bonding surface for the paint.
- Application: Apply thin, even coats of the enamel. Multiple thin coats are better than one thick coat. Shake the can well before use.
- Drying: Allow the paint to dry completely according to the manufacturer's instructions before exposing it to heat or use.
Compatibility: This enamel is compatible with most metal engine components including engine blocks, exhaust pipes, clutch covers, and bumpers. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility.
Care: Clean the painted surfaces with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. Regular inspections can help catch any issues early and prevent further damage.
