How often should I clean the air stone?

It is recommended to clean the air stone during your regular water changes, or whenever you notice a decrease in bubble production.

Troubleshooting

Check the air pump to ensure it is running. Verify that the airline tubing is connected correctly and is not kinked or blocked. Clean the air stone to remove any debris.

Bubbles are too large or irregular.

This may indicate the air stone is clogged or damaged. Try cleaning the air stone. If the problem persists, replace the air stone.
