Full details
The NUVO Dood is a revolutionary instrument designed for early music education, perfect for children transitioning from the recorder. It introduces single-reed skills with a mellow, clarinet-like sound, making it suitable for ensembles. The Dood features recorder-like fingering and a simple, durable key system designed for small hands. It is in the key of C and offers a fully chromatic range over one octave, with additional notes in the second register. The instrument is fully waterproof for easy cleaning and comes with two Nuvo resin reeds, a durable case, and a fingering chart. It also includes a clarinet-style mouthpiece and a new integral ligature for easy one-handed opening. An adjustable thumb rest adds to its ergonomic design. The Dood uses the same mouthpiece as the Clarino and is compatible with Eb Clarinet reeds.
