FAQs

Is the Regatta Frankie Fleece waterproof?

No, this fleece is designed for warmth and comfort and does not feature waterproof technology.

Can I put this fleece in the tumble dryer?

It is recommended to air dry to prevent shrinkage and fabric damage, though a cool tumble dry may be used if absolutely necessary.

What is the primary material used?

The garment is made from 100% polyester.

Is this fleece suitable for high-intensity hiking?

It is best suited for casual use; for intense activity, consider a garment with better moisture-wicking properties.

How should I choose my size?

The Frankie Fleece follows standard women's sizing; select your usual size for a comfortable layering fit.

Troubleshooting

Pilling on the fabric surface

Pilling is common with polyester fleece; use a fabric shaver gently to remove small balls of fiber.

Zipper feels stiff or catches

Ensure no loose fabric is caught in the teeth and use a graphite pencil on the zipper teeth to lubricate them.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Soft and warm polyester material
Easy-access full-zip closure
Flattering curved hem design
Highly versatile for daily layering

Cons

Not intended for extreme weather conditions
Limited to casual aesthetic
Requires specific care to maintain fabric softness

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because this is a standard fleece garment, it requires no setup. It is compatible with most casual wardrobes and layers well over t-shirts or thin base layers. To care for your fleece, machine wash on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can degrade the insulating properties of the polyester fibers. Always air dry when possible to maintain the garment's shape and texture.
