The Hay Colour Crate X-Large is designed for homeowners and organizers seeking a durable, stylish, and sustainable storage solution for bulky items. With its generous capacity and industrial aesthetic, it is ideal for managing everything from linens to children's toys while maintaining a clean, modern look. The main caveat is that as an open-grid design, it is not suitable for storing very small, loose objects that might slip through the ventilation gaps.

While the plastic is high-quality, the crate is designed primarily for home storage and organization, not for direct food contact.
The crate is designed for indoor use. Outdoor conditions, such as extreme heat or heavy rain, may degrade the material over time.
The crate is sturdy, but it is recommended to keep heavier items on the bottom of a stack to prevent tipping.
No, accessories like lids and casters are sold separately.
Use a gentle household plastic cleaner or a mixture of warm water and mild dish soap with a soft microfiber cloth.
Ensure the hinges are clean of debris and press firmly on the center of each side until you hear the locking mechanism engage.
Verify that all four corners of the upper crate are properly aligned with the indented slots on the lower crate rim.
Assembly is intuitive: simply unfold the four side panels and lock them into the base until you hear a click. To collapse, gently push the locking tabs inward to release the sides.
Compatibility: This crate is designed to accept standard proprietary Hay accessories, specifically the matching lids and caster sets. Ensure that you are using authentic attachments to guarantee a secure fit.
Care Instructions: To maintain the finish of the recycled plastic, wipe the crate down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads, as these may scratch the plastic surface. The crate is suitable for indoor use; prolonged exposure to direct, intense sunlight may lead to discoloration over time.
