Full details

This Makita DBO480Z model is a versatile cordless sander designed for efficient sanding tasks. It comes with a regular rectangular pad for louvered door sanding and an extended, triangular pad to function as a detail delta sander. The package also includes 22 sanding sheets and a punch plate for paper attachment. Key features include electric speed control with two speed settings, a dust collection system with a dust bag and forced dust collection, and cordless mobility for comfortable, stress-free sanding. It is compatible with the base and four pads used for current corded models, including a square pad with hook and loop fastener, a square pad without hook and loop fastener, a rectangular pad with hook and loop fastener for louvered doors, and an extended triangular pad with hook and loop fastener for louvered doors. The sander offers high power, ensuring work efficiency comparable to or exceeding that of corded models like the BO4555/BO4556 in rough finish sanding of wood. It also features low vibration due to a redesigned balancer, matching or surpassing the vibration levels of competing models during loaded operation. The paper clamp is designed for easy operation, and the grip is ergonomically contoured for user comfort. Direct connection to vacuum cleaners is possible for effective dust extraction. The DBO480 accepts both hook and loop and clamping type papers, distinguishing it from the DBO481 which only accepts clamping type paper. The included accessories are 22 Sanding Sheets, a Dust Bag, a Punch Plate, and a Square + Detail Base. Batteries and Charger are not included.
