Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your rug, it may arrive with slight folds from shipping; lay it flat in a warm room, and the leather will naturally relax over a few days. To maintain the quality of the hide, vacuum regularly using a suction-only attachment—do not use a beater bar, as this can damage the hair fibers. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub, as this can push liquids into the hide. Keep the rug away from direct, prolonged sunlight to prevent fading of the natural tones. If the rug is being placed on a slick surface, a thin rug pad is recommended to prevent slipping.
