Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation of the Hudson Reed Fluted Wetroom Screen typically requires precise measurement and alignment. It is recommended to follow the manufacturer's detailed installation manual. Basic tools such as a spirit level, drill, and screwdriver are usually necessary. Ensure the wall and floor are prepared to accept the fixing points securely. For optimal stability and water containment, professional installation is advised.
Compatibility: This screen is designed for wetroom installations. It is compatible with most standard wetroom shower trays or can be installed directly onto a waterproofed tiled floor. Ensure your chosen shower head and valve placement work harmoniously with the screen's dimensions to maximize water containment.
Care: To maintain the pristine look of your wetroom screen:
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, rinse the glass with clean water and wipe down with a soft, dry cloth or a squeegee to prevent water spots.
- Regular Cleaning: Use a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the glass periodically. For the chrome fittings and aluminium profiles, a damp cloth followed by a dry polish is usually sufficient. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scouring pads, which can damage the finishes.
