The Bosch X-LOCK Multi Construction Cutting Disc is designed for professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts who need a versatile, all-in-one solution for cutting diverse materials without the hassle of frequent disc changes. Its primary benefit is the specialized abrasive mix that allows for seamless transitions between metal, stone, plastic, and tiles, though users should be aware that while it is thin and efficient, it is optimized for specific material thicknesses rather than heavy-duty grinding tasks.

Yes, while it features the X-LOCK interface for rapid changes, it is fully compatible with standard nut and thread angle grinders.
No, this disc is designed specifically for cutting. Using it for side-grinding or deburring can cause the disc to shatter.
Yes, the disc is designed to minimize blue discolouration, making it suitable for clean cuts on Inox.
While it can handle various materials, it is optimized for sheet metal, profiles, and pipes. Avoid using it on excessively thick solid steel blocks.
Yes, always wear safety goggles, gloves, and a dust mask, as cutting stone and metal produces sparks and airborne particles.
Ensure the disc is properly seated on the X-LOCK interface or centered correctly on the standard grinder flange.
The disc abrasive may be clogged. Use the disc on a slightly harder, abrasive material like concrete to 'dress' the surface and expose fresh grit.
Check the mounting area for debris or metal shavings; clean the interface with compressed air before attempting to click the disc back on.
To use with an X-LOCK angle grinder, simply align the disc with the X-LOCK mount and press down until you hear an audible click. To release, pull the lever on the tool head. For standard grinders, follow your tool's manual for flange and nut attachment. Regarding care, store the discs in a dry, cool environment, ideally in their original packaging to prevent moisture ingress or physical damage. Always inspect the disc for cracks or signs of wear before every use, and ensure that the maximum rated RPM of the grinder does not exceed the disc's safety specifications.
