Sea Island cotton is one of the rarest and finest cottons in the world, grown in the Caribbean. It is known for its extremely long, fine staple fibers, which create exceptionally strong, smooth, and soft yarns.
The long sleeves offer a more polished and versatile look compared to a short-sleeve polo. It allows for layering and is suitable for cooler weather or more formal casual settings.
Yes, Sea Island cotton is highly breathable, making this polo comfortable even in warmer conditions as a light layer. However, its long sleeves offer more coverage than a short-sleeve version.
Yes, it is recommended to machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Avoid harsh detergents and high heat drying.
The polo has a classic fit with rib detailing on the collar, cuffs, and hem. It is designed to be a comfortable yet refined layer.
The rib detailing on the collar, cuffs, and hem should be cared for following the general garment instructions: gentle wash, cold water, and flat dry to maintain elasticity.
Ensure you are using a gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, which can degrade Sea Island cotton over time. Lay flat to dry instead of using a machine dryer.
Reshape the garment gently while damp after washing and lay it flat to dry. Avoid hanging the polo shirt when wet, as its weight can cause stretching.
This can sometimes occur with fine natural fibers. Gently remove any small pills by hand or use a fabric shaver designed for delicate materials. Proper washing technique can minimize this.
This garment requires minimal 'setup' as it is ready to wear. Its compatibility is high, pairing well with a variety of trousers, jeans, and outerwear.
