The stunning KitchenAid 5KSM185 Artisan 4.8L Stand Mixer, finished in candy apple, features the characteristic sweeping lines that make this a true kitchen icon. Combine this with its tough, die-cast zinc construction and powerful (0.19 HP) direct drive motor and you have what could be classed as a thoroughbred workhorse in the kitchen. The planetary action of the Artisan mixer moves the mixer head clockwise and the shaft counter-clockwise, moving the beater to the edge of the bowl at 67 different points for fast and thorough mixing, eliminating the need to rotate the bowl. To add to the KitchenAid mixer's versatility is the multi-purpose attachment hub which allows you to attach a wide range of accessories. The 5KSM185 Artisan Mixer is supplied with a comprehensive range of accessories including: 4.8L STAINLESS STEEL BOWL - with an updated design this stylish bowl, made from polished stainless steel, can process up to 1kg of all-purpose flour, 12 egg whites, 2.7kg of cake mix, 2kg of bread dough or 1L of whipped cream. Dishwasher safe. 3L STAINLESS STEEL BOWL - an additional bowl is handy so you don't have to wash up between mixes. Dishwasher safe. POURING SHIELD - allows you to add ingredients to the bowl without splashing. STAINLESS STEEL WIRE WHISK - perfect for adding air into egg whites, cream and dips. Dishwasher safe. STAINLESS STEEL FLAT BEATER - use when mixing heavier mixtures such as cake mix, cookie dough and mashed potato. Dishwasher safe.
