Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
- Placement: Ensure the dishwasher is placed on a stable, level surface. The product dimensions are 845 mm (height) x 600 mm (width) x 600 mm (depth). Confirm your kitchen space can accommodate these measurements.
- Water Connection: Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water supply tap (or hot water supply if specified in the full manual, but cold is standard). Ensure the drain hose is correctly connected to your sink's waste pipe or a dedicated standpipe, with no kinks.
- Electrical Connection: Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches your household supply.
- Leveling: Use the adjustable feet to perfectly level the dishwasher, preventing vibrations and ensuring proper door closure. Use a spirit level to verify.
Compatibility
This freestanding dishwasher is designed to fit standard kitchen cavities. Its 600mm width is common for full-size dishwashers. It requires access to a standard electrical outlet (typically 220-240V), a cold water supply, and a drain connection.
Care and Maintenance
Regular care ensures optimal performance and longevity:
- Clean Filters: Regularly check and clean the filter system (usually located at the bottom of the tub) to prevent blockages and ensure effective cleaning. This should ideally be done weekly or bi-weekly depending on usage.
- Check Spray Arms: Ensure the holes in the spray arms are not clogged with food particles. You can usually remove them for easier cleaning.
- Refill Rinse Aid: For sparkling, streak-free dishes and effective PerfectDry results, regularly check and refill the rinse aid dispenser. Adjust the dosage setting as needed.
- Refill Dishwasher Salt: If you live in a hard water area, periodically refill the salt reservoir. This prevents limescale buildup and ensures your detergent works efficiently.
- Clean Door Seal: Wipe down the rubber door seal with a damp cloth to remove any food residue or grime, which can cause odors.
- Descaling: Every few months, consider running an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or descaling agent to remove grease and limescale buildup inside the appliance.
