Yes, you can use the dough-only program to prepare mixtures for rolls, pizza, or pretzels.
The duration depends on the program selected, but most standard white bread cycles take between 3 to 4 hours.
Yes, the unit automatically enters a 60-minute keep-warm cycle after the baking is complete.
It is not recommended to open the lid during the rise or bake cycles as the loss of heat and humidity can negatively affect the bread structure.
The Spector bread maker has a maximum capacity of 2lb (0.9kg).
Check that the yeast is fresh and the liquid temperature is lukewarm; ensure you are not using too much yeast which causes the dough to rise too quickly and collapse.
Wait for the bread to cool completely, then carefully use a non-metal tool to hook and remove the blade from the bottom of the bread.
Ensure ingredients are measured accurately using a kitchen scale rather than measuring cups, and verify that the yeast has not expired.
Before your first bake, ensure the bread pan is securely locked into the base. Always add liquids first, followed by dry ingredients, and finally the yeast to ensure proper activation. When cleaning, avoid using metal utensils, as they will damage the non-stick coating of the pan. Instead, use a soft cloth or sponge with warm soapy water. After every use, check the kneading blade housing to ensure no dough debris is trapped, which helps maintain the motor's performance over time. Store the unit in a dry place when not in use to keep the exterior finish looking pristine.
