Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly of the Portland Bookcase requires basic household tools and should be performed on a soft surface, such as a rug or carpet, to prevent scratching the finish. Follow all provided instructions to ensure the frame is squared and the bench supports are secure. For maintenance, wipe the wood-effect surfaces with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust. The padded seat cushion should be spot-cleaned with mild fabric upholstery cleaner if spills occur. Avoid placing the unit in areas of direct, high-intensity sunlight to prevent fading of the brown finish over time.
