Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Installation: Insert the required batteries into the compartment located on the underside of the lid.
- Liners: Use standard 10L bin liners; ensure the bag is tucked neatly inside the rim to maintain the sleek aesthetic of the bin.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the unit in water, even though it is IPX4 water-resistant, as the electronic sensor is concentrated in the lid.
- Placement: Avoid placing the bin in areas where direct sunlight hits the sensor, as this can sometimes cause erratic behavior. Ensure there is at least 20cm of clearance above the unit if placing it under a low shelf to allow the retraction mechanism to function freely.
