The Phoenix Battery Fighter BS0442K is meticulously designed for both residential and commercial settings, ensuring reliable storage and effective charging of Lithium-Ion batteries. Rechargeable batteries carry inherent risks, notably thermal runaway triggered by temperature fluctuations, impacts, or production flaws. These risks imperil safety, potentially leading to hard-to-extinguish battery fires that pose serious threats to lives and property. This safe is suitable for the storage and charging of various battery types including power tools, garden tools, e-bikes/scooters, drones, laptops, mobile phones, and standard household rechargeable batteries like AAA, AA, Type C, Type D, and 9V. It is fitted with an internal smoke detector and an external, wireless alarm. Safely charge your Lithium batteries using the fitted power points, which include 3 Double PDUs and 6 sockets. The safe features warning labels in accordance with ISO 3864 and ISO 7010, as well as the European directive 92/58/EEC. It has also undergone fire and impact testing from 9.1 metres for resistance to the impact of falling through the burning floors of a building. The construction is double-walled with internal fill of patented Styronite F insulation, providing great strength and fire/heat resistance. It is fitted with a high-quality key lock and supplied with two keys. Tested to Swedish NT Fire 017-90 Paper, it provides 90 minutes fire protection for paper documents. For security, the safe is recommended for an overnight cash risk of 2,500 or 25,000 valuables*. It is ready prepared for floor fixing, with fixing bolts for concrete floors supplied. Features include internal key hooks, a pull-out drawer, and height-adjustable shelves. The safe is finished in a high-quality scratch-resistant white paint (RAL9003). Optional features include the SP SAFE MONITOR for enhanced safety, which provides internal temperature and humidity monitoring, linking to a mobile app and alerting you if the maximum set temperature is breached.
