A size 4 football is generally recommended for children aged between 8 and 12 years old. It's designed to help them develop their skills without being too large or heavy.
No, the Aston Villa FC football is supplied deflated. You will need a pump and needle to inflate it yourself.
Use a standard football pump with a suitable needle. Lightly moisten the needle before inserting it into the valve. Pump until the ball reaches its recommended firmness, typically indicated by a slight bounce.
While primarily designed for grass or artificial turf, the ball can be used on harder surfaces for short periods. However, prolonged use on abrasive surfaces may cause premature wear to the outer material and graphics.
Clean the football using a damp cloth. Avoid using soaps, detergents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material and the printed club crest and text.
A size 4 ball is lighter and smaller than adult sizes, making it easier for young players to control, kick, and maneuver. This aids in developing fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting with confidence.
The ball is intentionally shipped deflated for packaging and safety. You will need a standard football pump and needle to inflate it to the correct pressure.
Check the inflation valve for any visible damage or debris. Ensure the pump needle was inserted correctly. If the issue persists, the valve may be faulty, and the ball might need replacement.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and harsh weather. Clean the ball gently with a damp cloth only. Aggressive cleaning or exposure to abrasive surfaces can damage the printed graphics.
