Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Identify the desired mounting location on a wall.
- Use a level to ensure the hook will be straight.
- Mark the screw hole positions.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary, especially for harder wall materials.
- Insert wall anchors if required (not included, depending on wall type).
- Align the hook with the holes and secure it using the provided fixing screws. Ensure screws are tightened firmly.
Compatibility:
This hook is designed to be mounted on most standard wall surfaces, including drywall, plaster, wood, and masonry. Ensure your chosen wall material can support the weight of the hook and the items you intend to hang.
Care:
To maintain the antique finish, wipe the hook with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish. For outdoor use, occasional oiling might help prevent rust, though the antique finish often has protective properties.
