Can I use these chairs on carpet?
Yes, they are suitable for carpet, though the swivel motion may feel slightly more resistant compared to hard floors.
How often should I clean the swivel mechanism?
There is no set schedule, but if you hear squeaking, a light application of lubricant is recommended.
What is the weight capacity of the JEAN chair?
The chairs are designed to support standard adult weight comfortably; please refer to your specific product manual for the exact weight limit.
Is the fabric machine washable?
No, the upholstery is fixed. Use spot cleaning techniques with a damp cloth for best results.
Troubleshooting
The chair wobbles on the floor.
Adjust the leveling feet if present, or check that the bolts connecting the legs to the seat base are tightened evenly.
The swivel mechanism is stiff or noisy.
Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant spray to the bearing ring under the seat base.
A liquid spill soaked into the fabric.
Blot immediately with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. If a mark remains, use a mild upholstery cleaner specifically for water-repellent fabrics.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The chairs arrive partially assembled. Follow the included manual to securely attach the seat base to the wooden leg frame using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened in a cross-pattern to maintain structural balance.
Compatibility: The brown finish pairs well with rustic wooden tables, glass-top tables, or neutral-toned kitchen settings. Verify your table height; these chairs are standard dining height and will fit most dining tables with a clearance of 28 to 30 inches.
Care: To maintain the fabric, vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment to remove dust. If a spill occurs, blot with an absorbent cloth immediately—do not rub. For maintenance, check the swivel plate bolts every six months to ensure they remain snug, and apply a light silicone-based lubricant to the swivel bearing if you notice any resistance.
