Its contemporary design features robust, lockable double doors for easy access and toughened glass for safety. Crafted from high-grade FSC-certified 12mm pine shiplap boards over a sturdy 44mm x 44mm frame, this garden room offers exceptional quality. The 12mm tongue and groove (T&G) timber floor and roof are completed with mineral roof felt. Joinery-made windows and doors, designed for storm resistance, offer adaptable layouts to suit your space. A dip-treated base coat preservative is applied, allowing for immediate top coating with your preferred paint or stain after installation. Easy self-assembly is possible with two to three people, following the provided instructions. Note that a flat, level base of sufficient size is required; assembly on grass, soil, or gravel is not recommended. Imperial dimensions are approximate; please refer to the metric dimensions for precise measurements. Remember to account for roof overhang and access for installation and painting. The Shire Mayfield Summerhouse 20x8 is approximately 20ft wide with key-lockable double doors on the 20ft front. A versatile garden building that provides a stylish, avant-garde room from which you can enjoy the special atmosphere only a garden room can give. The design allows for interchangeable window and door panels to best suit your location preference. The timber is all sustainably sourced and has been machined in the UK. The 44x44mm robust framing used throughout the building ensures a solid structure upon which the tongue & groove exterior boarding is mounted. The roof and floor are also made using tongue & groove boards, completing this premium specification building. In addition, the building is supplied with safety styrene glazing throughout as standard. The Mayfield is supplied flat packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings including the roofing felt are supplied, along with easy-to-follow illustrated assembly instructions. Supplied dip-treated in a base coat treatment during manufacture to help protect it during transit. We recommend that, prior to assembly, you treat all wooden parts (both inside and out) with a quality preservative in a colour of your choice, to maintain the manufacturer's warranty.
