Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure a perfect application, follow these steps:
- Prepare the foil: Cut your plastic background foil so it is approximately 1cm smaller than the dimensions of the glass panel on all sides.
- Clean the glass: Thoroughly clean the outer surface of the aquarium glass to remove dust and grease.
- Apply adhesive: Apply a small amount of Fixol to the center of the glass.
- Position and smooth: Place the foil over the adhesive and use the provided spatula to smooth it from the center outward toward the edges.
- Secure edges: Wipe away any excess glue with a damp cloth. If necessary, use transparent adhesive tape to hold the edges of the foil firmly against the glass while the glue sets.
