To begin, ensure you have a flat, stable surface that measures at least 20 by 28 inches. Since 1000 pieces can be easily lost, keep a sorting tray or small bowls handy to organize edges and distinct patterns before assembly. For long-term care, avoid direct sunlight, which can fade the vibrant ink on the pieces over time. If you wish to display your completed masterpiece, use a dedicated puzzle glue to bond the pieces before framing, ensuring that you apply the glue evenly to the front surface with a flat applicator.
