The Large Shield Armorial Lion Statue from SPA is designed for homeowners and landscape designers looking to add a classic, heraldic aesthetic to entrances, gateposts, or gardens. This substantial ornament provides an immediate sense of permanence and grandeur to any outdoor space, though its 60 kg weight requires careful planning during placement. Expertly crafted in the UK, this piece mimics the texture of natural stone and is built to withstand harsh weather conditions while developing a charming, weathered patina over time.

No, the statue is designed as a freestanding piece. Its weight (60 kg) provides sufficient stability for most gatepost and garden applications.
Yes, the product is fully weather and frost-proof, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use.
Because each statue is hand-manufactured, you should expect unique colour variations, which adds to the authentic look of the piece.
The statue stands 78 cm tall.
While the statue is designed to mimic natural stone and weather over time, painting it is not recommended as it may interfere with the intended antique aesthetic.
Due to its 60 kg weight, it is highly recommended to seek assistance to move the statue to prevent back strain or accidental damage to the plinth.
Check if the surface is perfectly level. You may need to adjust the paving stones or concrete base underneath to ensure all four corners of the plinth have contact.
This is often the natural weathering process; allow the statue to age naturally. If you prefer a cleaner look, use a soft-bristled brush to remove any loose organic debris.
Installation of the Large Shield Armorial Lion Statue is straightforward but physically demanding due to its 60 kg mass. It is recommended to use at least two people when moving or positioning the unit to prevent injury or damage. Ensure the intended location is level to avoid uneven weight distribution. No specialized care is required; if the surface becomes dirty, a soft brush or a gentle spray of water will suffice. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or high-pressure washers, as these can strip away the intentional antique weathering effects that give the statue its character.
