Full details

The Merida One-Twenty 300 is designed for mountain bike enthusiasts seeking a versatile, full-suspension experience that excels on both flowing singletrack and demanding mountain trails. It offers a perfect balance of climbing efficiency and descending control through its high-performance 130mm travel frame and innovative P-FLEX suspension system. Troubleshooting

Brakes feel soft or spongy

The hydraulic system may have air trapped inside; perform a brake bleed or have a professional technician inspect the fluid lines.

Excessive noise from the drivetrain

Check the Shimano CUES derailleur alignment and ensure the chain is properly cleaned and lubricated.

Suspension feels too harsh or bottoms out easily

Adjust the air pressure in the SR Suntour shocks to better suit your riding weight and terrain style.

Pros and Cons

Low-maintenance suspension design via P-FLEX technology
High-value components like the durable Shimano CUES drivetrain

Not intended for extreme downhill or enduro competition
Requires periodic hydraulic brake bleeding
Short-travel design may feel limited on massive drops or jumps

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure optimal performance, start by setting your sag on the SR Suntour shocks to match your body weight, which will define how the bike interacts with the trail. The AGILOMETER sizing concept suggests testing different reach lengths to find your preferred balance of agility and stability. For care, ensure the drivetrain remains lubricated with a quality mountain bike chain lube and check your hydraulic brake fluid levels every few months. Since the P-FLEX suspension is designed for low maintenance, you primarily need to keep the pivot points clean of grit and debris to maintain smooth movement. Periodically inspect the frame for any loose bolts, especially after aggressive riding sessions.
