FAQs

What size pet is this suitable for?

This carrier is designed specifically for small dogs and cats. Please measure your pet's weight and torso length to ensure they fit comfortably within the dimensions.

Can I use this for long hikes?

It is designed for comfort, but ensure your pet gets breaks from the carrier periodically on long outings.

Is the material waterproof?

The carrier features breathable mesh for airflow, so it is not waterproof and should not be used in heavy rain.

How do I secure the pet?

Always clip the internal safety hook to your pet's harness before you begin your journey.

Is the backpack adjustable for different human heights?

Yes, the shoulder straps are fully adjustable to accommodate a variety of body types and heights.

Troubleshooting

Pet feels restless in the carrier

Ensure the straps are adjusted to hold the carrier close to your body and try shorter 'training' sessions to acclimate your pet to the feeling.

Shoulder straps feel uncomfortable

Re-adjust the tension of the straps to ensure weight is distributed across both shoulders rather than one.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Breathable mesh keeps pets cool
Hands-free design is perfect for commuters and hikers
Adjustable straps improve user comfort
Built-in security hook adds peace of mind

Requires pet cooperation to sit still

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To prepare the backpack for use, ensure all zippers are fully closed and the internal safety hook is accessible. When placing your pet inside, gently guide their legs through the designated openings while supporting their weight. Always ensure the straps are adjusted to fit your torso snugly to prevent the carrier from swaying. For care, clean the fabric by spot-treating with a damp cloth and mild soap to maintain the integrity of the breathable mesh. Avoid machine washing to prevent damage to the safety hardware and zippers.
