FAQs

Is this product waterproof?

It is formulated to be long-lasting and non-shifting, but it is not marketed as fully waterproof.

Does it require a sharpener?

Yes, this is a classic wood-barrel style pencil that requires a standard cosmetic sharpener.

Can this be used on the eyes?

This product is specifically formulated for the lips and is not recommended for use as an eyeliner.

Does it contain active plumping ingredients?

The product is designed to create a visual plumping effect through defined contouring rather than harsh tingling chemicals.

Will this shade match all skin tones?

The Blush Hour shade is highly versatile and flattering on a wide variety of skin tones, serving as a classic neutral-pink base.

Troubleshooting

The liner tip keeps breaking during application.

Apply less pressure. The formula is designed to be creamy, so you do not need to press hard to achieve full color.

The liner feels too soft to draw a sharp line.

Place the pencil in a refrigerator or freezer for 5-10 minutes to harden the wax, allowing for a sharper application.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Glides on smoothly without dragging
Highly pigmented color payoff
Resists feathering and shifting throughout the day
Helps lips appear fuller and more defined

Cons

Soft texture can lead to tip breakage if pushed too hard
Requires manual sharpening for precision
Not intended for extreme plumping sensitivity

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your Sheglam Bold Booster Plumping Lip Liner in top condition, always replace the cap immediately after use to prevent the creamy formula from drying out. Because the formula is highly pigmented and soft, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to avoid melting. When the tip becomes blunt, use a standard cosmetic pencil sharpener; for best results, place the liner in the freezer for five minutes before sharpening to ensure a clean, precise point without wasting product.
