FAQs

Is this tubing compatible with all lead clips?

Yes, it is designed to be compatible with most standard lead clip and inline lead systems.

How long is each pack?

Each pack contains 2 meters of rig tubing.

Can I use this for PVA bag fishing?

Yes, the anti-tangle properties make it an excellent choice for keeping rigs neat inside PVA bags.

What is the best way to cut the tubing to size?

Use a pair of sharp, high-quality braid scissors for a clean, fray-free cut.

Does the wire tool come with the pack?

Yes, a dedicated wire threading tool is included in every pack.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty threading the mainline through the tube

Ensure the end of your mainline is cut at an angle or use a small piece of bait floss to create a narrower loop for the wire tool to grip.

Tube is floating slightly off the bottom

Check if there is trapped air inside the tube. You can usually clear this by flexing the tube under the water surface.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent camouflage properties on various lake beds
Lightweight construction preserves casting distance
Includes a dedicated threading tool for easy setup
Soft material protects fish during netting and unhooking
Effectively prevents rig tangles on the cast

Cons

Shorter length compared to bulk spool options
Requires manual threading which can be time-consuming
Not as heavy as specialized high-density tungsten tubing

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your rig, cut the 2-meter tube to your desired length. Use the provided wire threading tool by passing the thin loop through the tube, catching your mainline, and pulling it back through the center channel. Once threaded, the tube can be easily attached to your anti-tangle sleeve.

For care, rinse the tube with fresh water after each session to remove silt or lake debris. Store the tube in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent the material from becoming brittle over time. Always inspect the tube for nicks or abrasions after catching a fish to ensure it remains safe for future use.
