This water-based impregnator is designed to protect absorbent natural stone surfaces against staining and make them water and oil repellent. It is ideal for use on floors in kitchens, dining areas, and living areas, suitable for polished, honed, or rough surfaces. Lithofin MN Stain-Stop >ECO< can be applied as initial protection before grouting or as a pre-treatment and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is particularly effective for rough and honed limestone, as well as polished and honed hardstone. For siliceous stones with rough surfaces like granite, dense limestone, or when maximum water repellency is needed, the solvent-based Lithofin MN Stain-Stop is recommended. This product is also suitable for surfaces previously treated with impregnators or resins. Application Temperature: The surface temperature should be between 10°C and 25°C. Ensure underfloor heating is switched off. Drying Time: Approximately 3 hours. Full effectiveness is achieved after 48 hours. Avoid covering the surface during this period and wipe up spills immediately. Coverage: Honed limestone: 4-8m² per litre, polished natural stone: up to 20m². Durability: Approximately 4 years, depending on the type and usage of the treated material and the maintenance system. Important Notes: For deep cleaning, use Lithofin MN Power-Clean diluted 1:20 with a white pad. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, as cleaner residues can impact the effectiveness of the protective treatment. Impregnators do not protect against acid. Touching up the Protective Effect: Surfaces with high wear, such as those in kitchens and bathrooms, should be touched up at least annually. This can be done using either Lithofin MN Stain-Stop >ECO< or the solvent-based Lithofin MN Stain-Stop. First, perform a deep clean and ensure the surface is completely dry. Then, dampen a clean cloth with the impregnator and rub it into the surface.
