The SpeedArc Matis GORE-TEX® is designed for fast hiking and offers excellent comfort. For extremely long-distance or rugged terrain requiring maximum support and durability, traditional hiking boots might be more appropriate. However, for many day hikes and multi-day trips with varied terrain, they perform very well.

Regularly clean the exterior of the shoe to prevent dirt and debris from blocking the membrane's pores. Avoid using high heat to dry them, as this can damage the waterproof membrane. Always air dry.

The GORE-TEX® membrane provides breathability, making them suitable for warm conditions. However, if you are primarily hiking in very hot and dry climates, a non-waterproof, highly breathable trail running shoe might offer superior ventilation.

This sneaker incorporates specific trail-running and hiking technologies, such as enhanced propulsion, superior grip on uneven surfaces, and a waterproof yet breathable GORE-TEX® membrane, all within an athletic, street-ready design.

Use a soft brush or cloth to remove loose dirt. For stubborn mud, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then rinse lightly. Ensure they air dry completely.

Moisture-wicking synthetic or wool blend socks are recommended to complement the GORE-TEX® membrane and keep your feet dry and comfortable.

Check socks for moisture wicking properties. Ensure no water has entered from the top opening. Clean the shoe's exterior as dirt can impede breathability.

Clean the outsole tread of any debris. While designed for traction, extreme wetness on polished surfaces can reduce grip. Exercise caution.

Verify the fit is correct – not too tight or too loose. Consider thinner or thicker socks depending on foot swelling during wear. Ensure the lacing is adjusted properly for support.

New footwear often requires a break-in period. Wear them for shorter periods initially and gradually increase duration to allow the materials to conform to your feet.
