Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard household tools, including a screwdriver, a hacksaw for sizing the spindle, and a drill for mounting the backplate if pilot holes are not already present. Since the set is reversible, identify the door handing during installation to ensure the thumbturn is positioned on the interior side. Compatibility extends to most standard door thicknesses; however, always measure your door before cutting the 100mm spindle. To maintain the chrome finish and mechanical performance, clean the handle periodically with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh chemical cleaners. A light application of silicone-based lubricant to the hinges every six months will maintain smooth operation.
