The Roughneck Gorilla Bar Pro 500mm is an essential tool for professional contractors and serious DIY enthusiasts who require a high-strength wrecking bar that won't cause excessive fatigue during long demolition sessions. Engineered from premium drop-forged chrome vanadium steel, this tool offers exceptional leverage and durability, though its polished finish may become slippery if handled with greasy or wet hands.

No. As this tool is constructed from solid steel, it is conductive. Always ensure power is disconnected before performing demolition near electrical wiring.
While the bar is exceptionally strong, it is intended for hand-tool applications. Using mechanical extensions or cheater bars to increase leverage beyond the tool's intended design can lead to damage.
While the steel is high quality, it is not stainless. Storing it in a dry environment and wiping it down after exposure to moisture will prevent rust.
The 500mm model is the perfect balance for agility and leverage. It is easier to carry and maneuver in tight spaces compared to 750mm or 900mm bars.
The wide jaw prevents the bar from digging into the material you are prying against, which is crucial if you intend to salvage wood or keep the surrounding area pristine.
Wipe the polished finish clean of any oils or grease and consider using textured work gloves for improved grip.
Ensure the wide jaw is centered on the support material; if marks persist, place a thin piece of scrap wood between the bar jaw and the surface to act as a fulcrum protector.
Use a hammer to gently tap the polished end of the bar into the seam to create an initial gap before applying leverage.
The Gorilla Bar Pro requires no complex setup; it is ready for use immediately out of the packaging. To maintain the structural integrity of the steel, avoid using the bar as a hammer or striking it with a hardened steel mallet, as this can lead to stress fractures. After use in damp or outdoor conditions, wipe the bar down with a light machine oil or a dry, clean cloth to prevent oxidation on the polished surfaces. Store in a dry tool chest or hanging rack to preserve the edge of the prying ends.
