Its cut and come again aspect is great for. Unwins Salad Leaf Mizuna Mix Seeds produce an assortment of peppery leaves in various shapes and colours. A reliable annual cropper, sow indoors or outdoors between the months of March and September and harvest between May and November. Create salads you're guaranteed to love with these tasty home grown salad leaves. Toss with olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper and let the leaves do the rest! Packed with micro-nutrients, cut and come again. Sow: March to September, Harvest: May to November. Sowing Indoors: Sow thinly 1 cm deep in trays or modules of firm, pre-watered compost and cover lightly if desired. Place in a warm spot at 10–15 °C and keep moist at all times. Planting Out / Sowing Outdoors: After the risk of frost has passed and seedlings are large enough to handle, plant into the harvest position 10 cm apart, with 30 cm between rows. Alternatively, sow thinly 1 cm deep directly in the harvest location, keeping soil moist and thinning as necessary to about 10 cm apart. Advice: Keep well watered. Small sowings every 3 weeks will ensure a continuous supply. Use netting to protect from birds and insects.
