The YoiYee 36 grit extra coarse sanding block is designed for DIY enthusiasts, woodworkers, and decorators who need a reliable tool for heavy-duty material removal. Its primary benefit lies in its high-density foam core and flexibility, allowing for aggressive sanding on both flat and contoured surfaces, though users should be aware that the 36 grit rating is highly abrasive and may leave deep scratch marks on delicate or finished surfaces.

No, the 36 grit is for heavy-duty material removal and will leave deep marks. Use it only for initial preparation.
Yes, it is designed for wet sanding, so you can rinse it with water. Ensure it is fully dry before storing.
Yes, it is effective for light sanding or smoothing edges on porcelain surfaces.
Use your palm to apply even pressure across the block to ensure consistent material removal.
Yes, it is excellent for knocking down rough patches or edges, though it is very aggressive for standard drywall seams.
Tap the block firmly against a solid surface or use a vacuum to suction debris from the sponge pores.
The 36 grit is very coarse. Switch to a finer grit block (e.g., 80 or 180) to refine the surface after the bulk material is removed.
Avoid sanding over sharp, protruding fasteners or jagged metal edges, as these will tear the foam structure.
No complex setup is required; the block is ready for use immediately out of the packaging. To maintain the life of the abrasive, tap the block against a hard surface periodically to dislodge trapped dust and debris. If you are using the block for wet sanding, rinse it thoroughly under clean water after use and allow it to air dry completely before storage. Do not store the block while damp to prevent degradation of the foam. For optimal results, ensure you have a progression of finer grits (such as 80 or 180 grit) available to smooth out the surface after the initial material removal phase.
