FAQs

Can I use the light effect without the heat?

Yes, you can operate the flame effect and LED light independently of the heating function for year-round ambiance.

Is the unit safe to place on carpet?

It is recommended to place the unit on a hard, level floor surface. If placing on carpet, ensure it is stable and that no carpet fibers obstruct the air intake.

Does it require a professional installer?

No, the unit is designed for DIY assembly, though having two people to assist with lifting the heavy surround parts is recommended.

What is the maximum temperature setting?

The fireplace can be adjusted up to 30 degrees Celsius. It will automatically stop heating once it exceeds this threshold for safety.

How do I clean the pebbles?

Carefully remove the pebbles and wipe them with a damp, lint-free cloth, ensuring they are completely dry before placing them back in the hearth.

Troubleshooting

The unit is powered on but not producing heat.

Ensure the thermostat is set higher than the current room temperature. Check if the safety cut-off has been triggered by an obstruction near the vents.

The remote control is unresponsive.

Check that the batteries are properly installed and have enough charge. Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the fireplace receiver.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation of the 52-inch surround requires basic tools to assemble the MDF structure. Ensure the unit is placed on a level, dry floor surface against a flat wall. Because the frame is constructed from MDF, it should be kept away from bathrooms or areas with high condensation to prevent warping. For maintenance, simply wipe down the exterior with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish. Ensure the intake and exhaust vents remain free of dust or debris to keep the thermal circuit breaker operating correctly.
