Specifically formulated for sealing and bonding plasterboard, and other kraft lined insulation boards where a fire-rated seal of up to 5-hours is required. It is a water-based, solvent-free formula which is easy to use and clean up, and adheres to almost all building substrates. The Everbuild product is permanently flexible with high grab, will adhere to most surfaces whilst being mould resistant and non-flammable. When cured, it can be painted over, and is easy to clean up. The AC95 will form an acoustic and intumescent barrier by sealing gaps between plasterboard walls, floors, ceilings, and dry lining applications. As an adhesive, Everbuild AC95 bonds plasterboard to plasterboard, wood, metal studding, and direct to block work. Also ideal for sealing and bonding most other kraft lined insulation boards. This product has an acoustic rating to BS EN ISO 140/3, and is tested for air permeability to EN13141-1 ventilation for buildings. Specifications: Size: 900 ml. Colour: White. +/- 5% flexibility. Fire rated - EN13666-4. Acoustic rated - BS EN ISO 140/3. Solvent free. Interior use only.
This guide is for anyone using the Everbuild AC95 adhesive and sealant, specifically designed for fire-rated and acoustic applications. The key benefit is its ability to create a fire-rated seal and bond various building materials, providing both fire protection and sound insulation. However, it's essential to remember that this product is for interior use only and requires proper application for optimal performance.
