Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This chopping board requires no assembly. Simply remove it from its packaging and place it on a clean, dry, and stable countertop. Ensure the non-slip features are in contact with the counter surface.
Compatibility: The board is compatible with most kitchen countertops. Its heat-resistant nature allows for brief contact with warm (not scorching hot) items. It is safe for use with standard kitchen knives, though prolonged and aggressive chopping may affect the artwork over time.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the board immediately after use with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the glass or damage the artwork.
- Dishwasher: While the glass is durable, handwashing is recommended to preserve the artwork's vibrancy and longevity. If using a dishwasher, place it on the top rack and use a mild detergent. Ensure it is completely dry before storing.
- Heat: The board is heat-resistant, but avoid placing extremely hot items directly from the oven or stovetop onto the glass, as this could cause thermal shock or damage.
- Knives: Use sharp knives with moderate pressure. Avoid excessive force or rocking motions that can dull your knives and potentially scratch the glass surface over time.
