Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup and Application
Getting started with your Chanel Le Vernis is straightforward, but optimal results come from a specific application process:
- Prepare Nails: Ensure your nails are clean, dry, and free of any old polish or oils. You may wish to moisturize cuticles and push them back first.
- Base Coat: Apply a thin layer of a protective and smoothing base coat, such as CHANEL's `LA BASE CAMÉLIA`. Let it dry completely.
- First Color Coat: Using the new flat, wide brush, apply a thin, even layer of Chanel Le Vernis in "121 Première Dame" to each nail. Ensure smooth strokes from base to tip. Allow to dry.
- Second Color Coat: Once the first coat is dry to the touch, apply a second thin, even layer to intensify the color and shine. This is crucial for the intended vibrant effect.
- Top Coat (Optional but Recommended): For enhanced shine and extended wear, finish with a top coat, such as CHANEL's `LE GEL COAT`. This seals in the color and adds an extra layer of protection.
Compatibility
Chanel Le Vernis is designed to work seamlessly with other CHANEL nail care products, specifically:
- `L'HUILE CAMÉLIA`: For cuticle moisturization.
- `LA BASE CAMÉLIA`: As a protective and smoothing base coat.
- `LE GEL COAT`: To enhance the lacquered finish and longevity.
While compatible with other brands, using the recommended CHANEL system ensures the best performance as intended by the product's formulation.
