Troubleshooting

Paint doesn't activate

Ensure you are using enough water on your brush. Dip the brush in water and then gently dab it onto the paint. If the paint is completely dry, a little more water might be needed to rehydrate it.

Colors appear dull

Try using slightly more water, or experiment with layering colors. For brighter results, use the paints on white or light-colored paper.

Paint smudging after drying

Watercolor paints are not permanent once dry. Avoid touching the painted surface until fully dry. For a more permanent finish, consider sealing the artwork with a clear acrylic spray (adult supervision required).

Brush is too small

While a small brush is included, you can use larger or different shaped brushes for varied effects or more comfortable handling, especially for older children.
