Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, ensure the engine block and connecting rod surfaces are clean and free of debris. It is crucial to verify vehicle compatibility using your vehicle's specific OE part numbers, as slight variations in engine models can impact fitment.
- Always clean the internal threads of the connecting rod housing before insertion.
- Lightly lubricate the threads and the underside of the bolt head with clean engine oil or assembly lubricant as specified by the manufacturer.
- Follow the manufacturer's specified torque sequence and angle-tightening procedure (torque-to-yield) strictly.
- Never reuse these bolts after they have been tightened to their yield point during a previous engine assembly.
