The Nuie Belfast Kitchen Sink is an ideal choice for homeowners looking to blend traditional aesthetic charm with heavy-duty functionality in their kitchen, laundry, or utility room. Crafted from high-grade fireclay, this sink offers a deep, spacious basin perfect for managing large items, though its heavy construction requires a sturdy, reinforced countertop and cabinet installation to support the weight safely.

Standard cabinets may not support the weight; ensure the base is reinforced or use a dedicated Belfast sink cabinet unit.
The sink is constructed from premium, handcrafted fireclay with a glazed finish.
Yes, the grid can be cleaned in a dishwasher or washed by hand with mild soap.
Regularly clean with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh, acidic, or abrasive chemical cleaners.
Yes, the sink is backed by a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee.
Check the silicone seal between the sink and the countertop for gaps or degradation and re-seal if necessary.
Use a non-abrasive cream cleaner specifically formulated for ceramic or fireclay surfaces, then rinse thoroughly.
Proper installation is critical due to the significant weight of the fireclay construction. Ensure your cabinetry is structurally sound and specifically designed or reinforced to carry a heavy ceramic load. When installing, verify that the countertop cut-out aligns perfectly with the sink's dimensions to maintain a watertight seal.
For daily care, avoid using abrasive scouring pads or harsh chemicals that could dull the high-gloss glaze. Use a soft sponge and mild dish soap to keep the basin clean. Periodically remove the protective grid to wash underneath it and ensure the drain assembly remains free of debris.
