How often should I service the drivetrain?

It is recommended to clean and lubricate the chain every 100-200 miles, and have a professional tune-up every 1,000 miles or annually.

Adjust the barrel adjuster on the rear derailleur or check if the derailleur hanger is bent.

Brake lever feels spongy

Check for air in the hydraulic lines or ensure the brake pads are not worn down past the wear indicator.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best experience, have the bike professionally fitted to your body measurements to take full advantage of the endurance geometry. Regularly check the tyre pressure before every ride to match the surface conditions. Compatibility for accessories is high; ensure any bags or mounts utilize the integrated top tube attachment points for a clean fit. For maintenance, keep the chain clean and lubricated to preserve the life of the Shimano Tiagra drivetrain. Wash the frame with mild soap and water, avoiding high-pressure sprayers around the bearings to prevent water ingress.
