The Ancol Grooming Glove is a soft rubber glove designed for wet or dry use. It effectively removes loose fur, grooms thoroughly to encourage circulation, and massages to promote a healthy skin and coat. It can be used on short, smooth, silky, long, and medium-length coats, and is a fantastic moulting tool. The glove can be used on either hand. To use on dry fur, gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The knobbles and friction caused by the glove will pull away loose hairs. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, start gently. If your dog enjoys the grooming glove, more pressure can be applied to remove more fur. To use on wet fur, massage the coat with the glove; this is ideal for working up a lather with shampoo. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated. The glove can also be used to effectively remove shed fur from soft furnishings such as carpets and sofas. Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming. This product now uses cardboard packaging that is widely recycled.
