The Westcott Multipurpose Scissors are an essential tool for users in home, office, or warehouse environments who require a versatile, high-quality cutting implement for everyday materials. These 210mm (8-inch) scissors offer a significant reliability boost thanks to their stainless steel bonded blades, though they are not intended for heavy-duty industrial shearing of thick metal or thick wiring.

While the ergonomic handle is primarily designed for right-handed use, the symmetrical nature of the blades allows them to be used by left-handed individuals for basic cutting tasks.
It is recommended to hand-wash and dry these scissors immediately to preserve the tension and prevent potential corrosion of the pivot point.
The blades are part of an 8-inch (210mm) total length design, providing an effective cutting edge suitable for most standard tasks.
No, these are designed for general materials like paper, cardboard, and tape. Cutting wire can damage or chip the micro-serrated edges.
The integrated cap grips are designed to fit most standard industrial and household container caps, but may not accommodate oversized or specialty lids.
Apply a tiny drop of sewing machine oil or silicone lubricant to the pivot screw area and open and close the blades several times to distribute it.
Ensure no debris is trapped between the blades. If the issue persists, the blades may need a professional sharpening or the pivot screw may be slightly loose.
Wipe the blades with a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol to dissolve adhesives, then dry thoroughly.
These scissors require no assembly; they are ready for use immediately upon removal from packaging. To maintain performance, store the scissors in a dry environment to ensure the stainless steel remains in peak condition. If the blades accumulate adhesive residue from tape or labels, clean them with a soft cloth dampened with a mild solvent or rubbing alcohol, then wipe dry immediately. Periodically check the tension screw if the scissors feel loose; however, do not over-tighten, as this can increase friction and accelerate wear on the pivot point.
