Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best results, sand the surface lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before applying your chosen finish. Because pine is a softwood, it is highly absorbent; using a pre-stain wood conditioner before applying wood stain will help achieve an even color. When fixing the wood, use high-quality wood glue for permanent joints and finish with appropriately sized brad nails. Keep the timber in a dry, climate-controlled environment before installation to prevent warping or moisture absorption. Avoid using in high-humidity areas like bathrooms unless sealed thoroughly with marine-grade varnish.
