Ziwi Peak Mackerel and Lamb is a premium, nutrient-dense wet dog food ideal for dog owners seeking a high-protein, limited-ingredient diet that supports skin, coat, and joint health. Sourced from sustainably caught New Zealand mackerel and grass-fed lamb, this recipe is perfect for dogs with sensitive digestion or those requiring specific fatty acid profiles, though the high-quality sourcing means it comes at a premium price point compared to standard commercial kibble.

Yes, this recipe is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by AAFCO for all life stages, including the growth of large-size dogs.
Cold-washed tripe is added to increase palatability and provide natural enzymes that aid in healthy digestion.
The limited-ingredient profile and inclusion of high-quality proteins like lamb and mackerel can help decrease sensitivities, but consult your vet if your dog has known severe allergies.
No, this recipe is free from grains, corn, soy, wheat, and artificial fillers.
Feeding amounts depend on your dog's weight and activity level. Please refer to the feeding guide on the back of the can or the Ziwi Peak website for specific caloric requirements.
Yes, the mackerel is sourced from the pristine, managed waters of New Zealand using sustainable fishing practices.
Try slightly warming the food to release the natural aromas of the mackerel and tripe, or mix a small amount with their existing diet to build familiarity.
This is common with high-protein diet changes. Slow down the transition process by mixing a smaller ratio of the new food with the old food for a longer period.
When introducing Ziwi Peak to your dog's diet, transition gradually over a period of 5 to 7 days to avoid digestive upset, slowly increasing the amount of Ziwi Peak while decreasing their current food. Store unopened cans in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, the contents should be covered and refrigerated to maintain freshness; it is best to consume refrigerated portions within 3 days. Always ensure your dog has access to fresh, clean water throughout the day.
