The SHAN ZU Santoku knife features a core made of Damascus Japanese steel 10Cr15MoV, known for its high hardness (62HRC), anti-corrosion, and wear-resistant properties. This super sharp kitchen knife is crafted using advanced forging techniques. Unlike laser-etched knives, SHAN ZU's Damascus pattern is formed by layering sheets of carbon steel and applying heat treatments with repeated folding and forging, making the pattern a permanent feature of the blade. The knife is constructed from 67 layers of steel, enhancing its resistance to corrosion, rust, and improving toughness for long-lasting use. The handle is made from frosted glass fiber G10, offering a solid, comfortable, and ergonomic octagonal grip for efficient cutting of meat, vegetables, and fish. SHAN ZU offers a 12-month warranty on all knife products.
