Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Remove the kettle from the packaging.
- Rinse the kettle and fill it with water to the maximum fill line, then boil the water and discard it. This removes any manufacturing residue.
- Place the kettle on a stable, flat surface near a power outlet.
- Plug in the kettle.
Compatibility:
The Haden Sensor Kettle is compatible with standard household electrical outlets. Ensure the voltage matches the kettle's specifications (check the base of the kettle). Do not use an extension cord unless necessary.
Care:
- Always unplug the kettle before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
- Do not immerse the kettle or base in water.
- Descale the kettle regularly (every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness) using a descaling solution or a mixture of white vinegar and water. Follow the descaling solution instructions or boil the vinegar and water mixture and let it sit for 30 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
