Troubleshooting

Lenses have smudges that won't wipe off

Use a dedicated lens cleaning spray or mild dish soap; avoid using clothing or tissues.

Arms feel loose on the face

Check the hinge screws with a small precision screwdriver, but do not overtighten.

Distortion at the edges of vision

Ensure the frames are resting symmetrically on your bridge; uneven pressure can cause lens alignment issues.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Hawkers Lax sunglasses maintain their clarity and structural integrity, follow these care steps:

Cleaning: Use a microfiber cloth and a mild soap-and-water solution. Avoid paper towels or abrasive fabrics that may scratch the polarized coating.
Storage: Always store the glasses in a protective case when not in use to prevent the metal frame from bending or lenses from cracking.
Adjustment: If the frames feel too loose or tight, take them to a professional optician for safe metal adjustment rather than forcing the arms manually.
Avoid Heat: Do not leave these glasses in a hot car, as extreme temperatures can damage the lens coating over time.
