Yes, as long as the bathroom is properly ventilated, though solid wood should be sealed correctly to prevent moisture absorption.
Minor trimming is usually possible, but you must consult the specific product documentation for maximum trim allowances to maintain structural integrity.
The door is finished in a brown tone suitable for most traditional settings, but verify your specific MPN for finish details.
No, this is specifically designed as an internal door and lacks the weatherproofing required for external exposure.
XL Joinery designs their Victorian range with consistent moulding profiles, allowing you to mix standard and fire doors seamlessly.
These are high-quality internal oak doors featuring detailed raised mouldings.
Check for frame alignment and ensure the hinges are correctly recessed. Shave small amounts of wood from the edge if necessary.
Ensure the door was stored in a controlled environment before hanging. Consult a professional carpenter to check if the door frame is square.
For installation, ensure your door frame is plumb and square before hanging. This product is intended for internal use only. Because these doors often feature solid wood components, they should be stored in a dry, room-temperature environment prior to installation to allow the wood to acclimate to the home's moisture level. When cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the wood finish. If hardware is required, standard internal door latches and period-appropriate hinges are recommended for a balanced aesthetic.
