Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This is a concealed shower valve, meaning the main body is installed within the wall cavity. Professional installation is recommended due to the nature of concealed plumbing.
- Ensure appropriate water supply connections (hot and cold) are routed to the valve location within the wall.
- Connect the two shower outlets (e.g., shower head pipe and handset pipe) to the valve.
- Mount the trim plate and lever handle once the wall is finished.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with standard UK plumbing systems.
- Requires a minimum and maximum water pressure (check manufacturer specifications for exact requirements).
- Suitable for use with gravity-fed and unvented high-pressure systems.
- Designed for two-outlet configurations (e.g., overhead shower and handset).
Care:
- Clean the chrome finish regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the chrome plating.
- For internal maintenance, the ceramic disc cartridges can typically be accessed and replaced if needed, usually requiring removal of the handle and trim plate.
